The procedure for the recognition of foreign educational documents (formerly known as nostrification) is intended to ensure the rights of citizens who have received education in other countries to continue their education and/or professional activities in Ukraine and is carried out on an individual basis.
The recognition procedure is carried out through the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The State Enterprise "Information and Image Center" of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, which performs the functions of the National Information Center for Academic Mobility ENIC Ukraine in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 924 of August 31, 2011, is authorized to process documents for the Ministry's decision on the recognition of foreign educational documents.
